Over the course of a 20-year career in cyber security, Kevin Faulkner has held key consulting positions in computer forensics, data collection and analytics, and electronic discovery. He has served as an expert witness in nearly two dozen federal and state court cases involving digital investigations and cyber security matters, including Waymo v. Uber, which involved the alleged theft of trade secrets related to self-driving car technology.
Before joining the leadership team at Crypsis in 2019, he was at Stroz Friedberg, where he was most recently managing director and head of the DFIR national practice, responsible for the management of the firm’s nine forensics labs. Earlier in his career, he was senior vice president at Mesirow Financial Consulting, where he led the firm’s Technology Advisory Services practice, helping clients in litigation, bankruptcy, or with internal security or investigative matters. Previously he was director of computer forensics and eDiscovery at Protiviti.
