Program Donates Portion of Proceeds from Employees’ “Over-and-Above” Efforts to Charities; NAACP Targeted for Donation in Q3
McLEAN, Va. – August 28, 2020 – The Crypsis Group, a leading incident response, risk management and digital forensics firm, today announced the company’s “Over-and-Above” charitable contributions program, which donates a portion of company proceeds to domestic and international causes based on employee overachievement. As additional incentive and reward for their employees’ hard work in resolving clients’ cybersecurity issues, the company donates funds for every hour worked that goes beyond company quarterly goals.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, threat actors have increased their attacks against organizations struggling to quickly adopt remote work models and new platforms to maintain continuity of business operations. Crypsis has been working hard to help them identify, respond to and recover from incidents and better secure their enterprises. Additionally, the company’s employees are committed to giving back to the community via contributions to organizations that make a difference (among other corporate social responsibility initiatives).
In Q2, The Crypsis Group’s designated charity was Save the Children, which gives children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. For Q3 of 2020, the company’s employees chose the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) as their charity of choice to help promote diversity, equality and inclusion. The company is behind the NAACP’s mission to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race.
“We put great value on giving back to the community,” said Crypsis Group’s CEO, Bret Padres. “We are extremely proud of our hardworking employees who went the extra mile both for our clients and for a good cause. We are committed to contributing to organizations around the world that seek to raise money and garner support for those in need.”
